Meet Jenny Craig - Business Founder

With nearly 25 years of first-hand media experience and knowledge in her background Jenny's media career started on completion of a media arts degree.  

Jenny understands that every business's challenge is unique so there is is never one solution that fits all.  Inquisitive by nature she will take the time to truly understand your business and put in place media solutions that will achieve your individual business objectives.

The broad range of industries she has worked with include; casinos and entertainment, hotels, bars & restaurants, investment companies, stockbrokers, fruit growers, food & beverage distributors, natural health products, event companies, engineering and transport companies, beauty companies, luxury car distributors, and airlines.

Not scared of a challenge, Jenny has run nine marathons, completed the multi-sport adventure race coast to coast and summited Mount Kilimanjaro at 5,895 metres.  She can also slow it all down and Jenny recently spent six months living in the beautiful Cook Islands with her family.

The idea for Brand Gardener was born on the tropical island of Rarotonga. This was where founder Jenny Craig was taking a sabbatical from her senior media specialist role at media and entertainment giant, NZME.  While enjoying the relaxed, idyllic paradise it dawned on her that it was time for a change. Having spent almost 25 successful years in the hustle and bustle of the big corporate media world, now was the perfect time to take that knowledge and experience and forge her own path.

How Brand Gardener Works

We work with clients on a direct basis for their advertising and media needs, but are completely independent of the media suppliers, which means there is no bias in our media recommendations.  

We start by taking an advertising brief from you for your media campaign.  We'll analyse and assess the most cost-effective media platforms to reach your target audience and achieve your objectives and present you with a recommended media strategy.  We'll negotiate with the relevant media to get the best advertising rates for your campaign and present a media placement plan to your budget.  Finally, we'll place the media bookings on your behalf and monitor the advertising campaign for you. Post campaign we will ensure you got what was promised and see if any improvements can be made for next time.

Media strategies will be different based on each client's individual needs, objectives and budget but all our clients get the same amount of care and attention to detail.

Creative is as equally as important as media selection and channel.  We partner with a range of creative geniuses who can help bring your brand and campaign messaging to life in a way that is best suited for each platform.
